From famous entertainment capitol Las Vegas to scenic natural wonders in many National Parks, this tour offers a diverse program for the nature and photography enthusiast. The region of western USA includes the greatest concentration of National Parks and Monuments. On daily walks and moderate hikes you will discover fascinating and unusual landscapes at Bryce Canyon, Arches, Zion and Grand Canyon National Park and many less visited, sensational geological wonders off-the-beaten-path. Participate at a ranger led walk through Mesa Verde and Pipe Springs NM and learn about ancient cultures and pioneer life. Stay one night at a traditional Hogan within famous Monument Valley, and enjoy a campfire program, dinner and breakfast hosted by Navajo Natives (except February departure). Experience the gold and silver rush town of Durango, Colorado and discover history during an optional ride on the historic Durango & Silverton narrow gauge railroad train, in operation for over 128 years. This small group tour includes all famous highlights of the Colorado plateau and offers insights in modern and historic American culture.

 | Day 1: Las Vegas
Welcome to Las Vegas, Travel Dream West invites you to a welcome dinner in our base hotel. |  | Day 2: Valley of Fire State Park – Red Canyon – Panguitch
Travel to Bryce Canyon. On the way stop and take a short hike at Valley of Fire State Park. Head to Red Canyon for an evening walk.
Day 3: We explore on foot the impressive gullies of one of the most beautiful National Parks, the Bryce Canyon. Drive and walk along areas near the scenic rim. |  | Day 4: Kodachrome State Park - Escalante Petrified Forest State Park - Calf Creek Falls - Torrey
Drive on Hwy 12, a country road, one of the few All-American-Highway. We stop at photogenic Kodachrome Basin State Park for a walk at Escalante Petrified Forest State Park on a hike up onto a table mountain. If day temperature permits hike to Lower Calf Creek Falls. |  | Day 5: Capitol Reef National Park - Goblin Valley Sate Park - Moab:
At Capitol Reef National Park we go for a dry river-bed hike through a gigantic slot canyon(weather permitting). Then pose near unusual Disney-creature like formations at Goblin Valley State Park.
Day 6: Arches National Park:
Walk and hike to see the most famous arches including delicate arch. Optional dinner entertainment at an authentic Chuck Wagon event is available. |  | Day 7: Canyonlands National Park - Dead Horse Point State Park - Durango:
Mesa Arch in the Canyonlands National Park. Then drive to Dead Horse Point State Park overlooking the Colorado River Plateau. |  | Day 8: Durango - Silverton,San Juan Mountains:
A highly recommended optional ride on the Durango & Silverton train dating back to gold rush days of 1882 takes you from Durango's lively downtown to Silverton. |  | Day 9: - Mesa Verde National Park - 4-Corners Monument – Bluff:
Today, we participate at a ranger led climb into the ancient cliff dwellings of Native Americans at Mesa Verde National Monument. Stop at the Four-Corners-Monument and stand at the intersection of 4 states. |  | Day 10: Valley of the Gods - Gooseneck State Park – Monument Valley:
Visited the Valley of the Gods, then stop and walk at scenic Gooseneck State Park. Highlight on this day is a Navajo guided tour through Monument Valley and a night spent in an authentic Native Hogan. |  | Day 11: Horseshoe Bend - optional Antelope Canyon tour - Lake Powell – Page:
Drive to Page near Lake Powell. Take a short hike to the fantastic gorge view of the Horseshoe Bend of the Colorado River. Participate at an optional tour guided by a Navajo Native to the famous Antelope Canyon, a photographer’s dream. |  | Day 12: Marble Canyon - Grand Canyon National Park – Kanab:
In the early morning we leave for our great adventure at Grand Canyon National Park North Rim. We shortly visit the area around scenic Marble Canyon.
Day 13: Pipe Springs National Monument - Coral Pink Sand Dunes:
Visit nearby Pipe Springs National Monument, a Mormon Pioneer Settlement where we participate at a ranger guided tour and learn about the Kaibab-Paiute Natives. Picnic and BBQ at Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park. |  | Day 14: Mt. Carmel Highway - Zion National Park - Las Vegas:
A scenic drive on Mt. Carmel Highway leads to Zion National Park and take a shuttle bus guided by a ranger. In the evening we drive back to Las Vegas for the last night of the tour.
