Sea Side Adventure
Paradise Beaches :: Knight's Forts :: Fishing Village
This fun adventure will take you along the southern coasts of Malta. Starting off at Marsaskala, we will pedal our way past some of the clearest sea in the area. This will then be followed by a short cycle through fields and countryside until we arrive in the fishing village of Marsaxlokk where you can treat yourself to some wonderfully cooked fish or to some ice-cream, with flavours ranging from vanilla, chocolate and strawberry to the more exotic, like Baileys and Vodka.
VitaThe islands of Malta and Gozo are well known for their beautiful beaches, blue seas, good Mediterranean food, as well as their long and colourful history.
However, not everyone knows that Malta (and its sister island Gozo) offers some great cycle routes through town and countryside, and that this is one of the best ways for independent travellers to discover the charms of this island in an eco-friendly manner. With an ideal climate for cycling, great views of the island as well as selected stops to savour traditional Maltese food, cycling provides an exciting, ecological, healthy and low-cost choice to discovering Malta at your own pace! Cycling should certainly be in your to do list when visiting Malta!
