THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE SLIDE SURFCAMP
1. registration
The registration in the Slide Surfcamp can be done in written form (mail) or electronically( email, booking request form ). The travel contract is binding for the participant after receipt at the Slide Surfcamp. The tour operator enters into the bindingness after the transmission of the booking confirmation (email or mail) incl. the amount of the deposit and the account data.
2. conditions of participation and supervision
As a prerequisite for participation in surfing and other sporting activities is that there are no concerns from a medical point of view. In case of possible complaints, we advise you to consult your family doctor before the start of the trip. All sport activities are at your own risk. Minimum age of the participant is 18 years. In special cases, an exception can be made with the consent of the minor and their legal guardian. The tour operator is not responsible for the supervision of minors, except for its legal obligations.
3. payment modalities
The tour operator and travel agent reserve the right to request a deposit of 25 percent of the total amount. After receiving the booking confirmation, the participant is required to pay a deposit of 25 percent of the total amount within 5 working days. The balance must be paid 30 days before the start of the trip. For registrations, less than 30 days before departure, the total amount is due immediately.
4. services and service changes
In the booking confirmation stated services are included in the travel price, taking into account the advertisement on the website. Slide Surfcamp reserves itself changes and deviations, if these became necessary after conclusion of the contract. As far as the change and deviations are not substantial and do not affect the overall average of the booked trip. Possible warranty claims remain unaffected if these changed services are defective. Not provided services by the organizer can not be claimed to the tour operator, if it is not attributable reasons (such as early return or other compelling reasons) arise.
5. cancellation costs and rebooking
In case of not starting the journey by the traveler and in connection with the cancellation, the participant has to pay the Slide Surfcamp a cancellation fee of
of 50€ until 60 days before the beginning of the trip,
25 % of the total amount from 59 to 30 days before the beginning of the trip
50 % of the total amount from 29 to 15 days before the beginning of the trip
75 % of the total amount from 15 to 7 days before the start of the trip
90 % of the total amount from 6 days to the beginning of the trip
100% of the total amount in case of no-show.
Decisive for a cancellation is a letter of withdrawal to the tour operator. Slide Surfcamp grants the option of a substitute person to the travelers, this enters, into the rights and obligations of the traveler and requirements of Slide Surfcamp. For this a fee of 30 € arises and so this and the original participant are liable to the organizer as joint debtors for the total price.
We recommend the conclusion of a travel cancellation insurance.
6. cancellation and withdrawal by the Slide Surfcamp
In the following cases the Slide Surfcamp can cancel or rescind the travel contract before or after the beginning of the journey: - Unforeseeable hazards or impairment of the traveler due to extraordinary circumstances such as force majeure (epidemics, disasters, war or severe weather). In case of cancellation or annulment of the travel contract, the tour operator reserves the right to charge the traveler a reasonable compensation for the services rendered. A refund of the payments made taking into account the costs of the Slide Surfcamp.
- Travel exclusion after warning by the tour operator or behavior contrary to the contract, so that the immediate cancellation of the travel contract is appropriate. This can be asserted without observance of a term.
- Minimum numbers of participants for specially marked activities are not reached. Payments already made will be refunded immediately.
7. liability
A liability of the Slide Surfcamps takes place for the conscientious preparation and realization of the camp and the services agreed with it, the inspection to ensure the operational readiness of the sports equipment. The liability is limited to the triple of the course fee, as long as the damage was not caused intentionally. Slide Surfcamp is not liable for loss or damage of property of the traveler. Sports equipment, surf equipment, surf clothing as well as other equipment of the Slide Surfcamp are to be treated carefully and properly. In case of loss or grossly negligent behavior the traveler is liable. The tour operator has to be informed immediately about any service disruptions. The arrival, the stay in the Slide Surfcamp, the participation in the surf course and other sportive activities are on the own responsibility. If for the realization of an event or other activities foreign companies are assigned with individual services, then the respective company, stands for the in connection standing claims and liability. A possible liability regulates itself in this case after the regulations of these foreign organizers, to which the customer is to be referred expressly and which are to be made accessible to him on request. Slide Surfcamp is not liable for traffic obstructions, accidents, delays and the date postponement connected with it and their subsequent costs. Slide Surfcamp is not liable for damages that occur during the practice of surfing and other offered activities or through the fault of damage to other participants or third parties.
8. insurances, passport, visa and health regulations
Slide Surfcamp strongly recommends the conclusion of travel cancellation insurances, these are not included in the booking price. Travel accident, luggage and foreign health insurances are recommended. Information about passport, visa and health regulations of non-EU citizens should be obtained from the respective consulates before departure. The tour operator is not liable for delays or changes of dates caused by passports or visas.
9. changes in the course of the event
Changes in the course of the event cannot be ruled out. Especially in the case of weather-related hazards, the event schedule can be changed. Short-term changes in time and place may therefore be necessary, taking into account an alternative program. Therefore, the traveler has no right to a refund or partial refund of the travel price.
10. warranty
The participant agrees that the organizer will provide him with a defect-free service or improve the defective service within a reasonable period of time instead of his claim for cancellation or price reduction. Remedy can take place in such a way that the defect is repaired or a substitute service of equal or higher value is provided, which also meets with the express approval of the participant. The notice of defect is to be made to the camp director on site. The organizer can refuse the remedy if it requires a disproportionate effort. The participant is obligated to cooperate within the framework of the legal provisions to avoid or minimize possible damages in the event of service disruptions. In particular, the participant is obliged to immediately inform the local camp management of his complaint. The local management is instructed to take remedial action, if possible.
11 Data use, data protection, image utilization
Photographs or film recordings made during the trip, at events or sporting activities, the traveler agrees that these may be used for Slide Surfcamp as advertising purposes. Against this consent, the participant can revoke at any time in writing. Collected personal data (inventory data) may be used by Slide Surfcamp for market research and marketing purposes. Slide Surfcamp commits itself to keep the data protection and media-legal regulations. The collected data will be treated confidentially by the Slide Surfcamp. Against this consent the traveler can contradict at any time in writing. If against this paragraph was contradicted no data use takes place after this paragraph. Your e-mail address can be used by Slide Surfcamp for the delivery of the newsletter.
12. exclusion of claims and statute of limitations
Within one month the traveler has time to assert claims because of defective travel services and subsequent impossibilities. After the expiration of the one-month period, the traveler is only able to make claims if he could not meet the deadline due to no fault of his own. After one year after the contractual end of the trip, all claims become time-barred.
13. severability clause
The invalidity of individual provisions does not justify the invalidity of the travel contract or the remaining provisions of the GTC and the fine print.
