Adventures on rope in Croatia

 

After Arrival in Croatia your guide will be waiting for you at Zagreb or Rijeka airport ( Zadar & Pula on request). You will be transferred to your accommodation situated 100 km from Zagreb and 45 km from Rijeka in Delnice, on 700 m over the see level. After settling into your room, you can have a drink, meet the other members of the group and your guides over dinner and discuss the upcoming itinerary.
Every day you will have breakfast & dinner in your pansion.

 

 

Day 1 Sunday: Adrenaline park

After breakfast 45 min transfer to Adrenaline park which is in the valley of river Kupa. After meeting our host and a welcome drink we will take safety equipment and after presentation our treiner begin our first rope adventure. In the poligon with rope elements at the height of 12 m we will pass through a variety of tasks through which we exercise motor skills, overcome our fear of heights and train our first skills on rope that we will need in the coming days. Half day activity. We can spend the rest of the day on swimming, paintball, kayaking or trekking (that depends on the first agreement).

 

Day 2 & 3 Monday & thusday: two days of Climbing school

45 min transfer to our beginner vertical wall where we will train free climbing. Place is on bank of river Kupa so we can refresh in river in any time. Our wall is about 20 m height so is perfect for first steps in Free climbing. First day is based on learning about equipment and techniques and the first attempts to climb. Next day we continue with climbing and attempts few tracks on wall. We will ensure all necessary equipment. Close to the place there are a few restaurants where we can have lunch.    

 

Day 4 Wednesday: Zip line

After breakfast transfer 20 min to Zip line polygon. 200 m long with speed of around 50 km/h we will plunge down the wire rope. This alighting is full of adrenaline. We can repeat run few times. This activity is quite short so we will spend the rest of the day on zip line above the river Kupa with lowering in river.

 

Day 5 Thursday:Extreme canyoning

 This tour we will spend in canyon of Devils passage which is just 30 min drive from your accommodation. First we have 45 min of trekking to the canyon from our base camp. The canyon can be pretty dry in summer time so we will use ropes for exploring the canyon. You will see one cave, one 70 m high waterfall and up to 100 m vertical walls in canyon which some of you will meet up close by abseil lowering next day. After the activity we can have lunch in mountain huts restaurant.

 

Day 6 Friday: Abseil lowering

Transfer to canyon Devils passage, short trekking to 25 m height rock where we will see if you fix fear of height. This is lowering on rope from vertical rock with help of your legs and our treiner (profesional alpinist). For those a little braver we can offer abseil lowering from 80 m vertical rock. This activity is unforgetable for the end of this interesting week. For those who aren't for this activity can replace with swimming in river Kupa or can have a day off.

Route

Croatia is an amazing country known for its wonderful sea but you also have alot to see in the heart of Croatia. If you are looking for adrenalin, fun, active holiday, sightseeing and at the same time for relaxation in a mountain area you will be at the right place. We take you on a 6 days rope adventure. Every day we will try some rope techniques. The week is planned for those who have a fear of heights or who have any experience on ropes or for those who would like to try something new, unusual and attractive. You will also see some nature resorts, a cave, canyons, and other spectacular views. We will mostly spend time near the river Kupa so we can refresh in crystal clean river.

You will be situated in double room. Single room 15% price increases.
The hotel "Risnjak" is located in the very centre of the town of Delnice, near the well-known Delnice park, and the forest-park "Japlenski vrh" . The hotel "Risnjak" has been classified as the three-star hotel, according to the classification and categorization conditions.
There are 21 rooms within the hotel (1/1, 1/2, 1/3 rooms), the restaurant "GORANSKA KU?A" (which is a la carte restaurant as well), the "Ris" café, a night club and the hotel wellness center , with fitness, sauna, various massages, hydro-massage pool and the solarium.
