Kas “ All times’ favourite”
Delightfully situated among towering cliffs,the coastal town of Kas has developed a reputation as one of Turkey’s best spots for action and adventure. Once a simple fishing village, Kas preserves its small-town charm with narrow cobbled streets and novel boutique shop. Kas is also a great place to try diving. The crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean coast boast good visibility and a variety of marine life.
Program:
Day 1: Transfer to Kas
Day 2: Kekova (sunken city) Boat Trip by Glass Bottom Boat
Kekova region is one of the most beautiful spots on Mediterranean.You will have an opportinuty to visit the tiny village of Kaleköy(SIMENA) and to swim in lovely bays of turquoise water. See the sunken city that was destroyed by a series of earthquakes at the turn of the first millennium. The ancient city’s remains are visible by glass bottom boat.As this is an archeologically protected area,no swimming is permitted, however we will be stopping at Tersane Bay where there is plenty of opportunity to view more sunken ruins whilst swimming and snorkeling.
Day 3: Saklikent Gorge Jeep Safari(4wd)
Today you have an exciting 4WD safari into the hills above Kas, in a vehicle specially desingned to travel over the rough tracks and step terrain. The route winds into the back-country through undiscovered villages-the kinds of places package tourists never even dream about, let alone reach. You will explore the longest gorge of Turkey, have mud bath, swim in most natural beach of Med, discover traditional Turkish home.
Day 4 :Meis (Castellorizo)-Greek Island
Today we offer you to explore one of the Greek island is Castellerizo. Our boat leave from Ka? harbour at 10 o’clock,it takes 20 minutes.You have free time to explore island and visit the small museum and swim beach.You will be back at Kas at 4 o’clock.
Day 5 : Free day
There is a free day Kas so you can get to know the area beter and visit the local bazaar(Friday). A wander through the countryside, along countless trails is a great way both to relax and to discover the local flora and fauna.
Day 6 : Today you can join optional tours or have lazy day in your hotel.
Heading up toward the yayla(highland plateau), you may well meet nomadic shepherds who leave their lowland villages to bring their goats and sheep up to graze. The views are stunning as you descend to a pretty mountain village for a lunch of traditional Turkish home-cooked food in a village house. After lunch you continue your mountain journey, finally descending to the scenic coastal road fort he drive back to Kas.
Day 7: Transfer to airport, fly to home.
