Riding a bicycle for nine days in North East Vietnam is a fantastic method to discover the most amazing landscapes and hill tribe people's cultural treasures. We will depart from Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, and ride our bikes towards North East Vietnam. During our journey, you will not only get to see the unspoiled areas of Bac Son and Cao Bang, but you will also get to see three incredible national parks: Ba Be, Na Hang, and Thac Ba. You also go to and interact with friendly folks. In Ba Be Lake, cycling and kayaking are fantastic activities. The lovely Ba Be National Park, a feast of limestone and tropical forest, is centered around Ho Ba Be, Vietnam's largest natural lake. The lake is 7 km long, up to 30 m deep, and has sections that are a kilometer wide. It is surrounded by high, heavily forested hills that occasionally break out into white limestone cliffs. A couple of islands adorn the surface.pedaling on paved roads via Na Hang to Thac Ba and Vu Linh Eco-villages, you will get the chance to take in the immaculate environment, spectacular landscape, and breathtaking views of the limestone mountains.

Hanoi, the historic and vibrant capital of Vietnam, is home to some of Asia's most remarkable colonial buildings as well as a distinct old world charm. Following check-in, unwind on your own while discussing the schedule for the next few days with our guide. Take a cyclo ride through the Old Quarter's busy streets to explore Hanoi's blend of modern and historical charm. Following a filling breakfast at the hotel, you will check out, pay the bill, and get your cycling suit ready for our cycling challenge. When you arrive in Thai Nguyen Province, our driver will take you out of the busy city and into one of the beautiful hill tribal minority museums, where you can see and learn about 54 different Vietnamese ethnic minorities for the first time. You can definitely identify which ones will be on the bike route in the upcoming days. We will begin our first riding day by pedaling from Thai Nguyen to Bac Son Town. Bac Son Town is located in the northern mountainous province of Lang Son and is surrounded by stretching mountains that create a picturesque landscape.spend the night in a hotel or host family.

Rise early to observe the tranquil villages and learn about the locals' everyday lives. Try the morning pan cake from the area. We begin riding through a breathtaking valley to one of the first historical relics, the Bac Son Museum, which houses pictures, documents, and artifacts related to the September 27, 1940, Vietnamese Revolution against the French. We keep going up the steep climb to the That khe intersection for our picnic. We continue cycling on Route 3 toward Cao Bang after lunch. We board the shuttle bus to the hotel from Dong Khe. Stay the night at the Hung Dzung Hotel and eat dinner.

Following a filling breakfast at the hotel, we visit the neighborhood market to discover what local producers are producing or to snap photos with amiable locals. We load up our bikes and head out from the hotel along pavement and dirt roads. Savor 17 km of beautifully scenic route that winds through hill tribal settlements with thatched roof stilt houses nestled in tranquil valleys beneath towering limestone mountains. In the meeting part, we make a right turn and get ready to tackle the first 7 km of steep, tight turns on our bikes.
You will be rewarded, nevertheless, with breathtaking views of the tall mountain ranges and breathtaking surroundings. We reassemble for refreshments once we reach the slope, and then we descend through a picturesque valley to the second pass. After crossing a 5-kilometer pass in the Ha Lang Township, we make a right turn onto the border belt road that connects China and Vietnam.We keep pushing our limits and experience on the long, final, steep pass at the halfway point.
Upon overcoming three hard passes, we shall feast on a delicious picnic lunch at the summit. We ride and take in the sights of both countries after lunch along the Quay Son River.Proceed down the damaged path until you reach the Ban Gioc Waterfall. Eat dinner and spend the night at the hotel.

Day 5: Ban Gioc – Trung Khanh – Tra Linh
Rise early in the morning to explore the breathtaking scenery and go down to find the magnificent waterfall. After eating breakfast at the hotel, we ride bikes to the border belt and via the Non Nuoc Cao Bang karstic formation.As we ride along the border strip, cross a bamboo bridge, and pedal through charming towns and rice paddies, we can take in the breathtaking scenery. Cycling between villages on dirt roads and single-track trails. Experience the vibrant sights and striking vistas while traveling through Vietnam's Global Geopark, the center of the earth.
After Trung Khanh arrives, reassemble and take a short break for refreshments. We go to Tra Linh Town by once more taking the trodden track and avoiding the side roads. eating lunch on the way. After lunch, we ride on a dirt road that leads to Tra Linh Town, passing through a quiet town and rice fields. We check in and unwind as soon as we get at the center. Dinner and lodging in Tra Linh Town for the night.

Rise early in the morning to explore the breathtaking scenery and go down to find the magnificent waterfall. After returning to the hotel for breakfast, we begin cycling down the frontier route to Pac Po, the former residence and workplace of President Ho Chi Minh, where he spent three years between 1940 and 1943 following his thirty-year exile. taking the time to explore historical sites in Ho Chi Minh City, such as Carcmark Mountain, Lenin Spring Water, and Coc Po Cave. Continue traveling the Hochiminh Route back to Cao Bang while stopping for lunch.When you get to Cao Bang, spend some time exploring the surrounding towns and city.

We start our tarmac road ride to BaBe National Park from the hotel after a substantial breakfast. After crossing the bridge, we ride on a paved village road until we reach national road 209, at which point we turn right. We subsequently leave the country road. Proceed along the riverside tarmac road until you reach Bac Can.You are rewarded with breathtaking views of limestone mountains, breathtaking rice terraces, and gorgeous scenery along the route. Eat lunch on the way. Following filling up: energy. We begin our bike ride to Ba Be Lake on a gently rolling route.
Ba Be National Park, one of Vietnam's oldest parks, boasts the nation's largest naturally occurring freshwater lake and breathtaking mountain landscapes shrouded in a semi-tropical monsoon rainforest. Numerous minorities, including the Tay, Red Dao, Coin Dao, and White H'mong, call the area home.

Day 8: Ba Be – Na Hang Nature Reserve – Vinh Loc
Rise early to take in the gorgeous scenery of Ba Be National Park and the sounds of the birds and monkeys living in the surrounding bush. Eat breakfast at the hotel. We start riding from the hotel, going through the national park to the boat wharf and taking more than an hour to find the stunning view of Ba Be Lake.It is endowed with magnificent limestone vistas, a lush jungle, and outstanding visual splendor.Take a boat ride to Da vi and Na Hang water reservoir after riding the single dirt track to Dau Dang Water Fall. Cycling to Vinh Loc on a tarmac route that passes through some hills and valleys.After checking in, grab dinner at a nearby hotel in Vinh Loc.
